Burning Spells

Burning Spells are fire spells used to achieve the desired results through the implementation of flames. Burning spells are but one more form of magic, usually Voodoo, that relies on the powers of the world for their strength.

Employing spells that incorporate the use of fire, often called "burning spells," is a practice that goes back thousands of years. Fire has long been considered a mysterious source of energy and power and to this day fire is often associated with strength and energy.

Fire is also believed by most cultures to be a purifying or cleansing element and not without good cause. Fire does, in fact, cleanse and even sterilize much to which it is applied. Fire kills bacteria and germs and can be used to sterilize instruments.

Fire also represents destruction. Fire is one of the most powerful forces of destruction on earth. However, even in the wake of its destruction, fire still brings forth new life from the cleansing of the old.

Fire spells in general, while effective, have not been shown to be any more effective than any other spells. In addition, there is an added element of danger in performing spells that use fire. Even with the greatest caution there always remains a risk of error and subsequent unintended damage, physical harm, or even death.

Due to their inherent element of danger, we do not recommend the use of burning spells.
