Working the Magic "Find True Love" Spell

Preparation:

You will need:

6 - feathers from a white dove (check your local pet shop)
6 - hairs from your head
1 - natural beeswax candle
1 - bay leaf
1 - 12 inch length of natural twine or string
1 - 6 inch square of white, natural cloth (cotton, silk, etc.)

Casting the spell:

Step 1: Light the candle

Step 2: Tear the bay leaf into six small pieces

Step 3: Lay the feathers, hairs, and pieces of bay leaf in the middle of the cloth.

Step 4: Repeat the following words aloud three times:

Love is near,
Bring it here,
No more tears,
For all my years.

Step 5: Fold the fabric to form a small packet containing the articles you placed on it. Tie the packet closed with the string.

Step 6: Repeat the following words aloud six times:

Send a dove,
Return a love,
Spend a hair,
For warmth and care.

Step 7: Extinguish the candle.

Step 8: Find a place outside your home where you can bury your packet, unnoticed. After you have buried your packet, go home, break the remainder of the candle in two pieces and place both pieces under your mattress until you find your true love.
