Karanina's Book of magic spells and incantations is a compilation of spells gathered from the four corners of the globe. It all began in South Africa in the early 1900's when there was a tremendous surge of growth, building and magick. Workers were brought in from many countries to assist in the planning, design and labor. Karanina was the teenage daughter of a Welsh engineer father and a Russian mother. Having come from her sturdy homeland of Wales to this strange new land, she was intrigued by the various magical and occult oriented cultures there assembled. She had previously been exposed to Celtic, Welsh, early Gaelic, Irish and Russian folklore, and even at such a tender age was steeped in the traditions and rituals of her homeland Wales, but here in South Africa she found a bubbling cauldron of spiritual and paranormal ingredients already measured, portioned and waiting -- just ripe for their inclusion in an intriguing brew of magical spells.  

Karanina was an attentive student and as many young girls did at that time, she kept a diary--a diary in which she chronicled and documented her newfound treasures and experiences. For young Karanina it was truly, a "magical" time, filled with both wonderful and awe-inspiring events and dark and terrifying places. It was the adventure and education of a lifetime.

Karanina was a traditional, fortunate and prosperous woman. Wealth came easily. Because of the knowledge of magic and money she had gained as a child, she was able to parlay her already more-than-adequate stipend into a veritable fortune. Empowered by her wealth, she traveled extensively and having never lost her interest in the true magic of the world, was able to fully explore that which she had for so long, held so dear--witchcraft, magic and spells.

Everywhere her travels took her, she sought out the teachers, the experienced practitioners, and those of the "Deep Magic". She kept a journal (no longer calling it a diary) and continued with meticulous detail, to record her experiences and the magic spells and formulas she gleaned along the way. Near the end of her life, Karanina claimed she had discovered the "common thread" of the most powerful magick spells, and how, when used in harmony, their power was magnified many times over. She wrote the spells on parchment and placed them in an envelope, twenty-seven magic spells in all. They remained in that sealed envelope until they were discovered in her attic, after her death, along with the volumes of her writing.

Karanina died in 1982 but her wealth of magic lives on. Karanina's Book of Spells contains the magical spells of her carefully chosen string. These are the best, heretofore unknown, "Deep Magic" spells ever assembled in one small book.
