To Protect a Dwelling


This ritual is to protect a residence from bad weather and vandalism. It also attracts positive influences.

You will need:
- A candle (any color, but white or natural beeswax is best)
- A cone of incense (any fragrance)
- Three small, smooth stones
- A 7" x 7" square of white, cotton fabric
- A seven-inch length of twine

Light the candle and the incense. Hold the three stones in your right hand and repeat the following words:

Let this dwelling not fall prey,
To man nor beast, nor work of hand,
Weather, nor elements of nature,
Against all let it stand.

Wrap the stones in the fabric and tie the package with the twine.
