WICCA

History

Wicca is a religion pagan-based on the traditions of pre-Christian of England, of Ireland, of Scotland, and the Country of Scales. Its origins can be still other layout again with the people of Paleolithic which adored God of hunter and a goddess of fertility. False ideas

During two thousand years the image of the witch was associated the evil, the heathenism, and the blasphemy. These ideas have their origin in Christian myths created to convert members of the old religion into that of new. By transforming the witch into a diabolic character of the intention and action patients, the Christian missionaries could attach fear to a word which had in the past meant the healer, the wise one, and the scombres. These fears are present to date. When we think of the archetypal image of the witch, we remember the bad enchanter of the tales of childhood. We think of an old woman, ruffled witch with a malicious wart on its nose. We think of the stinking magic spells, and devils, and incantations singers around a cauldron of boiling. While we them modern witches were known to stir up to the top of the remedies of sweet herbs in a cauldron, we are far a cry indeed from the bad witch horrifying at the west!

The witches do not adore Satan. To believe in the Satan, one must subscribe to the Christian mythos. Us not. Wicca does not have any belief inside, nor we adore a concept of incarnated evil. All the life is perceived like constant flow of positive and negative energies, which are interlaced to create the balance of the life. [Of my own experiment, I must say that the only evil that I ever observed in the world came from the man. There is no axe-murderer, or child-misleading to find in the animal kingdom, or in kind as a whole.]

The witches do not mould the evil spells. The modern witches have a very strict belief in the law of the return. That that we send to our world will return to us, thus even the witch the most bad character would not consider to make the magick to harm others being. Spells that we imply things like curative, love, wisdom, creativity, and joy. The “magic beverages” these we stir up could be a remedy of headache, or a cold tonic, or a bath of sweet herbs of chip for the dog of family.

Belief

Divinity immanente. Wiccans believe that the spirit of Dieu/de dess exists in each alive thing: out of trees, rain, flowers, sea, and in one the other. This means that we must treat our pars, and all beings of the ground like aspects of the divine one. We try to honour and respect the life, in all its many and various expressions.

Nature. Wiccans learn from and adore nature by celebrating the cycles of the sun, and the cycles of the moon. We look in ourselves for the cycles in this correspond to those of the normal world, and the test to the movement in harmony with the movement of the life. Our professors come in the form of trees, rivers, lakes, meadows, and mountains, as well as of other human which went the way before us. Other witches of Faiths.Modern believe in freedom initially! We do not choose to look at our way like “a true good manners,” but as a way among much in the center. We do not convert new members into trade, nor we announce or prosteletize. We believe that no matter who who are meant for this way will find it by their own research. Tolerance and acceptance of practice as regards Wiccans towards all other religions, as long as these times do not preach or do not invest the evil in others.

Life after death. The majority of the witches believe in the reincarnation of a certain kind, if it is the known Eastern version under the name of transmigration of the hearts, the spirit which incarnates a body after others in an effort to learn all lessons from the life which they can, or of a hereditary incarnation, where the lessons of spirit and life of the father convert with the grand-daughter, and so on in bottom of the genetic line. The last is more traditionally a Celtic approach, but both are accepted.

Sin.In Wicca, we do not have a specific concept of sin. There are no sky or hell which the hearts will go to based on their fashionable actions. False-to make is governed and determined by the individual conscience. With the belief in the law of the return, the actions with one will determine the future with one. The individual is thus responsible for his own destiny, based on what him or it chooses to do internally and outside in the world.

Ethics.Wicca has but a law of action and ethics. This is called Wiccan Rede or the law of Wiccan, and can be found under the category of part of reading of the same name. “And the evil of ye no” covers almost very that Ten commands: are not, do not fly, do not cheat, etc It encourages us to try not to harm any thing alive-including/understanding we-same-except perhaps surviving. Control counters the hierarchy. There is no bishop of vault of Wicca. There are not only person or organization who determine the practices and the belief of Wicca as a whole. Instead of that, Wicca is consisted of the small groups and solitaries of nebulas which are in charge of the control of themselves. Wicca is a religion of clergy, not disciples. Each person who continues the trade seriously, if it is by the study in a particular tradition, or by the car-instruction and the private study, has the choice to become a priest or a priestess of Wicca. The majority of the modern traditions of Wicca offer a programme of three years of the study which will bring the student to the level of the high priest or priestess.

Churches and temples. Wiccans do not have usually churches created specifically for the worship of the gods. Our temple is found in kind, among creations of the divine one. We meet in circle which represents the circle of the life, and equality which we divide. There are no head, no top, no beginning and no end. If necessary, our circles take place inside in the houses, the apartments, or everywhere where we can find one crowned, protected space. Magick. The witches believe in power of magick to create the change. An author in front of Wiccan called Starhawk defines the magick as “art of conscience changing in the will.” While being in the air with the rates/rhythms of the life, we can create the change for ourselves and our world. We employ grasses, oils, colors, stones, crystals, and other materials symbolic systems to represent the change which we wish to create. Wiccans believe that the individual is responsible for his own reality. If there is something which does not support healthy, or happiness and the growth, we have the power to change it. Like aspects of divine, we are each creator and Creatress, filled of power to express all of what we dream or desire.

Which is Wicca? Wicca is a forest in the light of the silver plated-a moon clearing enchanted by the light of Faery. It is the dewdrop on the petals of a flower in flower, heat of the sun of summer on the skin, falls of the sheets coloured of autumn, and softness of snow of winter on the ground. It is light, and shade and all what are in the interval. It is the song of the wind, and the air of the tides. It is the symphony of the life! To be a witch is to be an healer, a professor, a researcher, a giver, and a guard of all the things living and alive. If this way is with you, can you go it with the honor and the light!
