Wiccan Beliefs

Beliefs of Wiccans

.) We practise rites to adapt us with the normal rate/rhythm of the forces of the life marked by the phases of the moon and the quarters of quarter and transversely seasonal workers

.) We identify that our intelligence gives us a single responsibilty towards our enviroment. We seek to live in harmony with nature, in the realization of offer of ecological balance to the life and the conciousness in a concept évolutionnaire.

.) We recognize a depth of power far larger than which obvious with the average person. Since it is ordinary far larger than it is called formerly supernatural, but let us see we it as being in lower part of what is naturally potential with all.

.) Us concieve of the creative power in the universe like appearing by the polarity - as a masculine and female - and that this same creative power is located in all the people, and functions by the interaction of the masculine and female. We evaluate neither one nor the other above the other, knowing each one to be of support of the other. We evaluate the sex like pleasure, like symbol and incorporation of the life, and like one of the sources of energies the religious practice im magickal employed and worship.

.) We identify the external worlds and interior, or psychological, of the sometimes known worlds under the name of spiritual world, collective Unconcious, etc - and we see in the interaction of these two dimensions the base for paranormaux phenomena and exercises magickal. We neglect neither one nor other dimension for the other, seeing both like neccesary for our realization.

.) We do not identify any authoritative hierarchy, but honour those who teach, respect those which divide theirs larger knowledge and wisdom, and recognize those which courageously gave themselves in control.

.) We see the religion, the magick and wisdom in the life as being plain in the manner one looks at the world and saw in him - a sight of the world and a philosophy and a life which we identify like sorcery - the manner wiccan.

.) To be called “witch” makes witch-but neither heredity itself does not make, nor the gathering of the titles, the degrees and the intitiations. A witch seeks to order the forces at it/itself which make the life possible in order to live wisely and well without evil with others and in harmony with nature.

.) We believe in assertion and realization of the life in a continuation of evolution and devleopment of the conciousness giving the significance to the universe which we know and our personal role in it.

.) Our only animosity towards Christianity, or any other religion or philosophy of the life, is insofar as its establishments claimed to be “the only manner” and to have sought to deny freedom with others and with the supress in other manners of the practice and belief chocolate éclairs.

.) As American witches, we are not threatened by the discussions on the history of the trade, the origins of various limits, the legitimacy of various aspects of various traditions. We are concerned with our present and our future.

.) We do not accept the concept of the absolute evil, nor we adore any entity known under the name of “Satan or “the devil”, as defined by the tradition of Christian. We do not seek the power by the pain of others, nor accept that the personal advantage can be only derived by denial with the other.

.)We believe that us should seek in nature what is contributing to our health and well-being.
